I am so glad to connect with you! I am guessing that if you are on this page, you share a love for life and a desire to live it to the fullest. I am a woman in her late twenties seeking to make the most of the time I have on earth and the life I lead. I am on a journey to discover what it means to use my gifts, talents, dreams, and joys in a way that benefits those around me, fosters community, promotes growth, communicates love, provides restoration, supports healing, and expresses beauty. I am a lover of the Creator, investor in family, promoter of celebration, creative musician, dancer and choreographer, deep thinker, passionate dreamer, loyal friend, and ocean lover.

Why the Thrive Project?

Since I graduated from Westmont College in 2014, I have been in that process of “finding my calling,” “looking for direction",” and “determining my career path.” It’s an interesting season of life. For most of us, life is pretty straight forward up until graduation in terms of what happens when and what is expected of you. It’s easy to feel accomplished if you are doing well in your schoolwork and reaching the goals that are set before you by your professors, teachers, and advisors. However, once you graduate, there is an almost threatening ambiguity. All of a sudden there is no format for success. There is no clear path to follow in which you feel as though you are “on the right track.” This was disorienting for me, and I found myself paralyzed by both the lack of direction and the seemingly endless possibilities before me.

So out of this place, I thought up the idea of the THRIVE PROJECT. (It took me a few years to get around to it since I didn’t have a due date to force me to start, but finally here we are!) This project is for all of you who find yourselves in a similar situation as I was. Unsure of what to invest your life in, feeling like you have so much to give but not knowing which avenues to follow, having trouble finding a sense of fulfillment without the structure we grew up in, and simply confused on how to discover direction in life. This project is for you. I have sought out those in my life that I believe are living meaningful and fulfilling lives to glean from their experiences and share their wisdom. I have spent time with them, interviewed them, listened to their stories, and gained their perspective. Now, I am sharing this wealth with you! I hope it gives you clarity and peace while encouraging you to live a life of purpose and passion. Enjoy!
